Dear Family and Friends,
After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to run for Dallas Independent School District 9 Trustee.
It is time for a change. It’s time for the District to do what is right for all our children in Dallas.
As a retired school administrator with 33 years of experience, being a reading and writing teacher (for students), reading and writing specialist (for teachers) was my strongest claim. I was recognized for being a strong disciplinarian with high standards, but compassionate. Parent involvement and encouraging volunteer participation was another priority for me. Involving all of the stakeholders is my position for a school district to be the best it can be.
To make this change, I need your help. I believe you are ready to work for that change. We need thousands of mailers to purchase, hundreds of yard signs to order, radio ads to place, a huge district to canvass and citizens to go out and vote on November 3, 2009; that’s why I am turning to you.
Contributions are to be made payable to “Juanita Wallace Campaign” and mailed to:
1409 S. Lamar, Loft 341, and Dallas, Texas 75215.
Your gift of $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000, will help raise the vital “seed money.”
